Labels for The 4-Tonne Project

The labels for the #4tonneproject are finished! A huge thank you to Rowena Martinich for donating the artwork for the labels and Downie Design for turning it into a label. It has been fun working on this collaboration with Collector Wines and Eden Road Wines taking the opportunity to do something a little different with the labels. I have been a long-time admirer of Rowena’s modern, abstract, colourful artwork and was thrilled when she said she was happy to help out with the project. It is great working with someone like Emily from Downie Design who has a passion for fonts and went out of her way to find something that was perfect for the project.

Thanks to everyone who has purchased the wine to date – there are still cases available for those who would like some delicious wine with funds going to support refugees and asylum seekers living in Canberra. The wine will be ready later in the year. I have spoken to the project’s winemaker Alex McKay from Collector Wines who said the Shiraz is through malolactic (secondary) fermentation and is currently ageing in oak.
