92 points for the 2013 Riesling

We have been really happy with the 2013 Riesling, and this has been backed up by a gold medal, trophy and now this review by Jeremy Pringle on his blog; winewilleatitself.com:

“A wine which I’ve followed with interest for a while now. There’s been steady progress over four years and this is the best release I’ve tasted.

Aromas and flavours are very much aligned with its predecessors; lime and lemon zest, red apples, under-ripe mango and grapefruit with accentuated white flowers. A touch of what I perceive as roundness related to residual sugar – although it’s far from an off-dry expression and the detail is particularly impressive. Talc-like texture and a long pithy finish. Very pretty, very balanced and very difficult to deny. 92
